Neemrana is located in Alwar district
off NH 8 on the main artery of
the Golden Triangle circuit of
Rajasthan. Neemrana is gaining
ground amongst investors for the
potential it offers for real estate
development. Barely 155 kms from
Delhi, Neemrana has been in the
news for the major commercial
projects and industrial estates
proposed by the Rajasthan Government
in 2006. Known more popularly
for its majestic heritage hotel
and fort, commercial and residential
property rates in Neemrana have
almost doubled with the announcement
of the Global City, the Special
Economic Zones and the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal
expressway which will intersect
NH 8 when completed.
The industrial estates are drawing
industry majors to set up their
manufacturing facilities here.
Liberty Whiteware have set up
a sanitaryware plant, Hero Honda,
Pallavi Copper Pipes and AMD Metplast
are also setting up their units,
while facilities of Parle, Ginni,
Prena Syntex, and Rochee Breweries
are already operational. Three
Japanese logistics companies are
also likely to set up operations
over 75 acres of land in Neemrana.
Quipo, India’s first infrastructure
equipment bank will also invest
in a project to be completed by
2009. Japanese automobile giant
Nissan may set up a manufacturing
unit in Neemrana. The real estate
market in Neemrana has been encouraged
by the entry of these large corporates.
The Reliance group’s multi
products SEZ will be spread over
2,500 acre on NH8. Though located
in Haryana, Neemrana’s proximity
to the project has influenced
property prices to almost double
during the last year.
RIICO has plans to develop large
industrial plots in the area,
spread over 2,000 acres; Called
Neemrana Phase III, the area will
be developed into a full-fledged
industrial estate complete with
residential colonies, educational
institutions, hospitals, recreational
centres. "Other projects
include an Export Promotion Industrial
Park (EPIP), spread over 210 acres.
In the first phase of EPIP RIICO
has allotted plots which have
been taken by industries ranging
from furniture, cosmetics, jewellery
and auto components etc."
A proposed Airport and Metro link
is on the agenda and is to be
finalized in the near future.
The
main objective to open up Cruise
Mall in Neemrana is to facilitate
people who are in this area to
avail services like shopping mall,
food courts, play zone for kids,
hobby centre, business centre,
auditorium, Cineplex, chemists
and with all modern amenities
available in Metro cities.
Also,
a star category hotel to play
host to all Foreigners, business
clients, executives and tourists
with all modern facilities like:
Multi cuisine restaurants, bar,
banquet hall, swimming pool, indoor
games, spa & saloon supported
by 24 hours room service, business
centre, valet parking.
